Dorota Sojka - Training & Compliance Manager AMFresh Alconbury
Dorota is a great example of how apprenticeships can provide individuals with a platform to shine and realise their true potential.
Dorota joined AMFresh as an Operative in 2013 and within 3 years secured a position within their training function where she absolutely flourished. She was ambitious and keen to progress into management so AMFresh put her forward for a Team Leader apprenticeship to build her confidence and develop her leadership and management skills.
During her apprenticeship journey Dorota has embraced every opportunity for learning and has been a key team player, coaching her fellow learners through challenging times and consistently showing up with a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
As a result of her personal development journey, Dorota has grown in every respect and has become a more confident contributor and effective leader.
Dorota has made a significant impact within AMFRESH whilst completing her apprenticeship
She’s developed and delivered structured learning pathways across the site and has led on the implementation of a programme for a new function within the business, becoming a ‘Grape Champion’ and subject matter expert, sharing best practice and continuously seeking ways to improve.
She’s also recruited and developed a new training team for the Alconbury site.
As a result of her personal growth during the Apprenticeship, Dorota was promoted in 2022 to the role of Training & Compliance Manager at the Alconbury site, where she is now responsible for a team of 3 trainers and the management of compliance training for hundreds of Colleagues across all shifts.
Dorota plays a critical role in ensuring that Colleagues at the Alconbury site receive the highest standard of training in order to ensure superior quality products are delivered consistently.
